Notes*:
-I cover this song in standard tuning
but Jason Mraz plays in drop D I'll
show both ways of playing it.

-He plays differently live, like a lot.
he changes lyrics and the chord changes
for the bridge are pretty different from
the recording. So I want to state that is
a tab from the Album Version.

-Jason plays it first fret, in my band we
do no capo because it makes it SO much easier
  to sing.

-In the bridge im having a real hard time
deciding whether the second chord is a G
or a Dadd4/G, so i just put down how we
play it which is G. But if anyone has any
  input please leave a comment!

[Intro]

D - Dadd4/G - Em - D - D

[Verse 1]

D
93 million miles from the Sun, people get ready get ready,
               Dadd4/G
'cause here it comes it's a light, a beautiful light,
Em D
over the horizon in to your eyes Oh, my my how beautiful,
                                     Dadd4/G
oh my beautiful mother She told me, "Son in life you're gonna go far,
    Em Asus4 A
and if you do it right you'll love where you are
       Dadd4/G Em A D
Just know, that wherever you go, you can always come back home"

[Interlude]

Dadd4/G - Em

[Verse 2]

D
240 thousand miles from the Moon, you've come a long way to belong here,
              Dadd4/G
To share this view of the night, a glorious night,
Em D
over the horizon is another bright sky Oh, my my how beautiful,
                                       Dadd4/G
oh my irrefutable father, He told me, "Son sometimes it may seem dark,
        Em Asus4 A Dadd4/G
but the absence of the light is a necessary part. Just know,
             Em A D D
you're never alone, you can always come back home"

[Chorus]

Dadd4/G Em A Bm Dadd4/G
